VaundaDavis2Vaunda Davis, THBS Reviewer & Client Relations Manager

Vaunda Davis earned her BA (Management) and her MBA (Finance) from Baker College. Professionally, she was the Controller for a $14 million service company for more than 15 years. During that time she was instrumental in a merger between her employer and a now public firm. She also provided guidance on two subsequent division sales.  Vaunda has been teaching accounting and finance classes since 2007 for various Universities both on campus and online. Her experience both in a corporate setting and in the classroom has been instrumental in working with small business owners and entrepreneurs.


Carolyn Elmer, THBS Bookkeeper

Carolyn Elmer, offers over 20 years of experience managing all aspects of finance for individuals, small to medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations.  She received her Master’s Degree from Holy Family University and is also a Certified Quick Books Pro Advisor.  Carolyn is highly quantitatively orientated, with demonstrated successes’ in Business Services, Investment and Operations Management.

Her career strengths include ability to encompass all business functions and to develop and enhance processes for an efficient, solid business structure.  Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys traveling and quality time with her family.

Laura is a native of Illinois and currently resides in Maricopa, Arizona. She has a strong background working as an executive administrator, finance manager and executive bookkeeper. She has extensive experience working in all versions of Quick books including Online Accounting. Laura is certified in Microsoft Office and has sound knowledge working with Fresh Books. In addition, Laura has experience working with payroll, insurance and benefits. She enjoys working independently or in a team environment, she has keen organizational skills and management abilities. Outside of work, Laura enjoys life with her husband and three boys.

Lynda Jamysen, THBS Sr. Bookkeeper

Lynda Jamysen has been an administrative assistant, full charge bookkeeper and cold call marketer for over 30 years. As a THBS Bookkeeper, Lynda offers an extensive skill set that includes not only full charge bookkeeping, but also result driven cold call marketing, excellent phone skills/presence, content writing/editing,  business consulting/management, cash flow management, accounts receivable collection calling, and follow through on everything.  Lynda is endearingly known to many as “The Follow Up Queen.” She has a heart for small business and has helped many make it through challenging times and come out profitable and better afterwards. Her ethics, profound sense of personal responsibility and being motivated from her heart, with all the experience and knowledge she possesses, makes Lynda someone you can trust with your business and all the challenges that may present to you.

Outside of work, Lynda is working on her motivational book, loves spending time with her hubby and 4 legged family members (a dog and three cats) and living in her remote and quiet mountain home.

Michelle DanajkaMichelle Danajka, THBS Executive Assistant & Team Manager

As our Executive Assistant/Team Manager, Michelle is the glue that keeps everything together. From Program Management to Team Management, Michelle helps THBS in providing the highest quality of service our clients deserve!  This is our priority!

Michelle  is the owner of A Day Without A Secretary and comes to us with over 25 years experience as an executive assistant.  Before starting her own business, she worked as a legal assistant for 8 years. She is an active member of the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA). She prides herself on being (sometimes overly) organized and likes to show her creative side in her work.  Michelle lives in Downers Grove, Illinois with her husband and their two teenage boys.  Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and their household of furry friends.
