Product Update: QuickBooks 2010 Users Technical Support Ends 5/31/2013

QuickBooks 2010Live technical support and add-on business services such as payroll, credit card processing, QuickBooks Email, and online banking will be discontinued for QuickBooks for Windows 2010, QuickBooks 2010 for Mac, and other 2010 QuickBook products as of May 31, 2013.

Intuit supports QuickBooks products for 3 years before discontinuing support and services for those products whereby encouraging you to upgrade to their latest version.

What this means is that you will no longer receive:

  • Live technical support
  • Payroll updates
  • Merchant services
  • Online banking
  • Ability to send email through QuickBooks

If you do not use any of the services mentioned above, you most certainly can still use QuickBooks 2010 but if you have any trouble, you will not be able to contact technical support for assistance.

If you wish to upgrade to QuickBooks 2013, I do offer software discounts on my website through my ProAdvisor account or you can find weekly specials being offered by Amazon, Staples, Costco and other retailers.
