Where would we be without DropBox? When you have a team or need to collaborate with a client on a project, DropBox is a free file hosting service that works across both the PC and Mac platforms and allows those to share files, photos, videos and more easily.
Were you aware that there are some add-ons for DropBox that will make this great tool even more useful? Here are three that I would like to share with you.
Backdrop – if you use Basecamp, Backdrop allows you to send project files directly to Dropbox. There is a 30-day free trial and if you find this add-on beneficial, the cost is $10/month for unlimited usage.
Hojoki – integrates all your cloud applications into one newsfeed. You can send comments to your collaborators and also see when files or folders are added or changed in Dropbox. Hojoki also is an integrated app for Basecamp, Box, Evernote, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Highrise, Twitter and Ta-Da Lists to name a few.
Side Cloud Load – Side Cloud Load sends any file on the web directly to a Dropbox folder without having you download it to your computer first. This is a free service and has a space limit per URL of 25MB.
If you have a favorite Dropbox addon, please share it with us.
