I have been seeing a lot of mention over the months about Pinterest and to be honest, I just skipped over it. I thought another social media site? Who has time for all these different sites? I know I don’t. So I just continued to focus my time on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. Well one weekend, I decided to visit Pinterest and see what all the chatter was all about and I got hooked.
When I came back from my MasterMind weekend, I created a Vision Board for my office. In all the years I have been in business, I never created a Vision Board and I really had a lot of fun pulling it all together. Magazines spread out on the coffee table and with scissors in hand, I started really noticing headlines, quotes and pictures and started cutting away. I mention the Vision Board because Pinterest reminds me so much of a Vision Board.
Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes. Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.
