MS Word Tip: Quickly Changing Font Sizes

Posted on 03. Dec, 2010 by in Windows Resources/Tips

Here is a quick way to change font sizes in a document:

  1. Select the text whose font size you want to change or if it is just one word, place the insertion point anywhere in the word
  2. Press Shift+Ctrl+> to increase the size of the font
  3. Press Shift+Ctrl+< to decrease the size of the font

The point size is either increased or decreased by a single point. You can reduce to a single point or go as large as 1638 points. Now that will grab someone’s attention.
