Elizabeth Freedman, MBA is a Career/Workplace Expert. She has been a career coach for seven years. As the author of Work 101: Learning the Ropes of the Workplace without Hanging Yourself (Random House, 2007), The MBA Student’s Job-Seeking Bible, and 2005 APCA finalist for College Speaker of the Year, Elizabeth’s programs combine substance with style that audiences rave about.

Elizabeth is a former MBA Marketing lecturer and Accenture consultant with a business background who isn’t afraid to tell her own stories from the front line (ask her about the night she spit spaghetti on her boss’s tie) in order to make a point.

Elizabeth speaks at conferences, on college campuses, and inside organizations across the country on work/career issues, and she’s been quoted in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, and dozens of others. She writes regularly about work and career advice, and is the National Workplace Issues blogger for The Examiner and her expertise and passion for issues that impact professionals is clear. That’s why groups that work with Elizabeth walk away from her programs inspired, energized and ready to hit the ground running with a revolutionary set of tools for career success.

What does Elizabeth do for her clients/customers? Helps professional services firms increase the value of their associates and future leaders – by providing exceptional educational seminars and learning opportunities that increase their overall productivity, expertise, and leadership potential.  Also partner with colleges/universities to help students successfully transition from the college campus to the corporate world.

Why did Elizabeth decide to use a VA? I work part-time and have two small children – working with a VA helps me get far more done than I am able to do on my own.

Why did you Elizabeth choose THSS as her VA? Linda came highly recommended from a business coach (Wendy Hanson) I had worked with. In fact, I was so bad at delegating that Wendy gave me an hour with Linda as a gift. Needless to say, it was the perfect gift, and I haven’t looked back.

How has a VA helped Elizabeth focus on her business? Linda is really like having an extra pair of hands – as she says – but it’s really more like having a highly organized, productive professional on your side.  I like to say that Linda is always one step ahead of me – she’s helped me focus, get organized, and get much more done in the process.  Linda really feels like a trusted business partner, and it’s a pleasure working with her.
