You have a list of names and would like to put them in alphabetical order quickly – well The Alphabetizer is that website.

This free and handy online services can do more than just alphabetize your data. It can:

  • Strip html (html tags and PHP tags will be stripped after sorting the list)
  • Ignore case (ignores the case of each entry while alphabetizing)
  • Make lowercase (will make each entry lowercase and then alphabetizes accordingly)
  • Capitalize first word (can capitablize the first entry before alphabetizing)
  • Remove duplicates (now this is a great tool – The Alphabetizer will remove all your duplicate entries)
  • Randomizer (if you have a list of names that you would like in Random order – The Alphabetizer can do this too!)
  • Reverse order (can reverse the order of your list)
  • Ignore definite and indefinite articles (a, an, the, some will be ignored in your list)
  • Ignore first word (if your list has Mr., Mrs. or Ms., this field can be ignored so that the name of the individual is sorted)

If you have any great websites you would like to share, please send them along to me. Of course, you will receive full credit 🙂
