Okay, I admit I do fall into this category and now more than ever there will be an influx of individuals who are being effected by this economic downturn and considering starting their own business. According to the Kauffman Foundation, small businesses are formed by Americans age 55 to 64 than at the highest rate of any age group: that is 28 percent higher than the adult average. The Small Business Administration has recently developed a website aimed at entrepreneurs 50 and older. The website, www.sba.gov/50plusentrepreneur features interactive links and information to help 50-plus entrepreneurs consider the benefits of business ownership.
