Here are a few shortcuts and tricks that may help you when using Excel:
- Did you know that if you hold down the Control key and then use your scroll button on the mouse it will either zoom or condense your worksheet view?
- Need to list the months of the year or perhaps a number series? Instead of typing January, February, March or 1, 2, 3 – simply type the first entry January, select it, hover your mouse over the black square at the bottom right of the cell and drag the fill handle down or to the right to fill in values February, March, April or 2, 3, 4, 5.
- If you double-click on the bottom right hand corner of a cell and highlight the rows below it will copy the formula to those rows.
- To print multiple worksheets, click on the first tab that you would like to print, right click the mouse and select all sheets and then File – Print.
