What Can THSS Do For Your Business? Transcription Services

Each month in our newsletter, VirtualConnections, we focus on unique ways that THSS can help your business run more smoothly and effectively. The day-to-day operations of a business can sometimes prove to be overwhelming for a business owner and available staff. This month we will focus on: Transcription Services.

• A client dictates letters and memos on a digital recorder, emails the .wav file to the VA for transcribing. The VA transcribes the .wav file and emails the letters and memos back to the client or the VA can print the letters on client letterhead and mail on the client’s behalf.
• A lawyer sends micro-cassettes via overnight delivery to a VA to transcribe. The VA types the report and sends it to the lawyer via email attachment.
• A business coach dictates session notes or meeting notes and sends them to the VA for transcription. The VA types the notes and returns to the client via email.
• A contractor is making site visits and transcribes notes to the VA on his digital recorder. These notes include letters to subcontractors for work that still needs to be completed, letters to homeowners regarding decisions on paint color, flooring, etc., or entries that need to be inserted into the project management software for each customer.
